4 c. sugar
3 T. vinegar
1/4 t. cream of tartar
Bring all ingredients to a boil. Boil with the lid on for 1 minute. Remove lid and insert candy thermometer. Continue to boil until 289*-290*. MAKE THEM (too many instructions for something I know how to do with my eyes closed...almost).
